    Hi,

     How can I get BI Documenter Workgroup Edition to connect to a named instance database.


    I have 2 databases running on a server. One is SQL2005 (default instance) and one is SQL2000 named instance. I can connect to the default instance no problems - but I am having problems connecting to the named instance. I receive the following error:

     Error 26: Error Locating Server / Instance Specified.

    You should be able to connect to a named instance e.g. myserver\instancename

    Check the servers connection and security settings.
